Saved By A Story-Teller

Memory is that faculty that enables us to recall past feelings, sights, sounds, and experiences. By that process, events are recorded, stored, and preserved in our brain to be brought back again and again.

Memories can be blessings – full of comfort, assurance, and joy. Old age can be happy and satisfying if we have stored up memories of purity, faith, fellowship, and love.

Memory can also be a curse and a tormentor. Many people as they approach the end of life would give all they possess to erase from their minds the past sins that haunt them.

What can a person do who is plagued by such remembrances? Just one thing.

This blog serves you with the one thing that needs to be done to keep you living.

Always keep a date with the story-teller, he’ll not only change, but will really save your life!!!

Love and Care…

It quite amazing that love and care is fact becoming a strange word is our world today.

Families now abandon their own at the mercy of “whosoever cares”, parents leave their children to pursue earthly pleasures; nations care less about their citizens. Right now the heat is on for the survival of the fittest.

But the obvious things here are that we belong somewhere. None of us came from the blues. We have parents, families and a country that we call our own. What then went wrong?

The bitter truth is that we have left the most importance thing behind. Our children today are struggling to earn our love, which we have withheld from them for our own selfish purposes. God never permitted it to be so.

His love for us is undeserved. We did nothing to earn it; no good in us merit it. The holy Bible says: “God demonstrated His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

In all our relationship especially with our children we must genuinely show that same kind of love. We are called to treat our children and all people with love and respect. It helps to remember what we were when Christ died for us.

You may have missed it for a long time now, but no matter how prodigal you may have been all these years, Christ is calling you to follow Him, and His love will surely change you into a precious saint.

Pray that God will help you to show respect and love to others, always mindful of the fact that each of us is created in God’s image. When the light of God’s love shines through your life, it will bring praise and honour to Him.

This blog is dedicated to all care-gives and the sincere seeker of God’s will. Tell me what you feel about love and care let’s share ideas together. I’m waiting for your humble and kind submission. But before then, do have a wonderful life filled with love and care. From me, God’s Grace.
